Already booked another stay with Yunni because I know Moosh will be in the best care! Thank you so much for giving Moosh lots of care and love :)”

4. Natalia & Avraham D.
“Natalia and Avraham did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Boots! We met them before he stayed with them, and they were flexible and great at responding to messages. Boots got comfortable with them quickly, and they even had some of his favorites (carrots) ready for him. During the stay, they were great about sending photos and updates. I give very detailed instructions, and they followed everything really well! I was so happy to have such a lovely couple take care of our dog while we were away, and will be sure to rebook with them in the future!”

I will 100% use her again and recommend her as well.”

11. David R.
“David is an extraordinary dogsitter. He took wonderful, attentive, generous care of our boy, and kept us updated every step of the way with photos and detailed messages: it was clear throughout that Roosevelt was having the BEST time! David truly goes the extra mile and then some. Hours before his weekend stay, Roosevelt was diagnosed with a paw infection; David looked after him incredibly well, following the vet’s instructions perfectly. Roosevelt always comes back from his time with David happy, healthy, well-exercised, and eager to return. Thank you, David!”

13. Junaid A.
“We're so grateful to Junaid and Tina for taking such great care of our 5-month-old pup, Nova. We were anxious about leaving her for the first time while we were away, but Junaid, Tina, and their dog Juju were amazing. They kept us updated every step of the way, which made us feel so much better. It was great to see Nova and Juju becomes play mates, and to have Nova come back home looking happy, healthy, and smelling great too! Even when our return flight got delayed, Junaid and Tina were super understanding and made sure Nova was well taken care of until we could pick her up. If you need someone to look after your furry friend with love and care, Junaid and Tina are the ones to go to. Nova can't wait to hang out with them again. Thanks a ton!”

“Kyle is an amazing sitter for my dog Vesper. He is very communicative throughout the time she stays with him. Vesper was sad to leave and very excited to return the next day! She has separation anxiety following our relocation from the UK, and so I am very happy to have found a great place for her to stay where she will be looked after while I am at the office. Thank you Kyle!”

“Logan had a wonderful time. Usually when we pick him up from a sitter he’s so ready to go home he’s pulling me away. He couldn’t stop looking back to see if Anne was coming. Couldn’t be happier!”
18. Heather S.
“We can’t recommend Heather enough! We relocated to NYC and had a family reunion planned the next day. Heather watched our 1 year old Shih-Poo while we were away for 9 days. She sent daily updates and photos. When we picked him up today he was calm and happy. We feel so grateful that she not only took excellent care of him (walks, snuggle time and trips to the farmers market) but she also really helped acclimated him to the city and calm him from our travels. She is a dog whisperer ? ❤️. Would highly recommend her.”
19. Claire H.
“Incredibly caring! Lots of pics update and you know your dog is in good hand from its smile! I rotate between meal recipes for my boy Sparky but he wasn’t a big fan of the meal I sent along for his stay. Claire even cooked foods (organic chicken etc) for Sparky! Cant thank her enough.”
20. Svetlana G.
“Svetlana took great care of our dog Mac. She was very communicative and gave us daily updates with pictures. We will certainly be using her in the future and would highly recommend for others looking for a sitter.”

Why do New York City dog owners choose Rover dog boarding?
From The Bronx to Staten Island and every borough in between, there are loving pet owners looking for just the right person to care for their dogs while they're traveling or away from home. Many dog owners turn to Rover, in large part because Rover dog sitters offer in-home dog boarding in New York City, which is great for pups and convenient for busy New Yorkers.
Why do dog owners love NYC?
New York City has a seemingly universal magnetism that can't be denied - especially for dog owners. Despite the fact that many New Yorkers live in infamously small spaces, the city is full of residents who are proud to call themselves pet parents. And with so many dog-friendly parks and outdoor spaces - including the incredible 843-acre Central Park - who can blame them? Plus, there's a Rover dog sitter or walker on just about every block, ready to care for their pups like they're their own.
What New York City neighborhoods do dog owners love most?
You'll find proud pet parents in every neighborhood and borough around NYC. Brooklyn is full of great parks and interesting places to visit, like the beautiful Brooklyn Botanic Garden in Crown Heights and the 6.8 acre Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick. In Manhattan, there's the Chelsea Market to get lost in while sampling great food before heading to the Joyce Theater for a show. Morningside Park Dog Run in Harlem is also a great place for people and pups to socialize. You can't miss the tourist-friendly Midtown, with the Empire State Building, Times Square, and Tiffany & Co for an iconic sidewalk breakfast. The Bronx is full of parks and open spaces, from the small 9 acre Henry Hudson Park to the huge 2,764 acre Pelham Bay Park, there's so much to explore. If you've ever flown in to John F. Kennedy International Airport or LaGuardia Airport, you've been to Queens, home to neighborhoods like New Hyde Park and Jackson Heights. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there's Staten Island, with neighborhoods like Arlington and Woodrow, a hugely diverse wildlife population, and over 359 acres of state forests and wetlands.
What New York parks should you visit with your dog?
Located in Battery Park in the Financial District, you can't miss a trip to Sirius Dog Run with your pup. It was built in tribute to the brave service dogs of 9/11. It's free to visit and even features a wading pool for your dog to splash around in. If you're near Gramercy, you've got to check out Madison Square Dog Run. Small in size but packed with perks, this park features separate areas for large and small dogs, along with plenty of shaded places to rest while your dog romps around. Looking for somewhere your dog can run off leash? Try Hillside Dog Park in Brooklyn. With over two acres of free space to run and a wooded area for curious canines to explore, this is a great park for dogs of all sizes.
