About: At 33, I've NEVER been without a furry friend. Dogs have always been family, from the gentle Rada, a Rottweiler, to the playful Ronnie, a pug. As a volunteer at an animal shelter, I've cared for up to 25 pets, making them my "cherished pack". Beyond the basics, I focused on their social integration and provided assistance with medical care under veterinary supervision. Caring for animals is more than just a job - it's a source of pure joy and fulfillment. Currently, I'm preparing to apply to veterinary college while continuing my volunteer work at the shelter. I'm flexible and can easily adjust my schedule to meet your needs. While you're away, I'll ensure your pet receives top-notch care in your home or mine. I love quality walks, whether leisurely or lively. Taking a break from textbooks is a little joy in my day! A tidy space is key to health, and you can trust me with that. Your feeding instructions will be followed diligently. I have lots of experience caring for animals needing special attention.

About: Growing up, I lived in a house with three dogs (a rat terrier and two mid-sized mutts) and cared for them from puppyhood through to old age. I work from home as a freelance musical arranger, and before I moved to New York I became the de facto day-to-day caregiver for my family’s 17 year old mutt, Cosmo. As his dog nanny, I made sure to walk him at 8am every morning, give him frequent potty breaks, check that he had plenty of food, water, & medication, and generally kept an eye on and hung out with him while I got my work done. I absolutely adore animals (especially dogs! Truly they are the most precious creatures in the world!) and would love to help you take care of yours!

“Megan was an amazing Rover to our cats! We have two foster kittens and two resident cats so she had her hands full but took such good care of each of them and was very detailed in her notes after each drop in. I felt very at ease getting each update! Megan also went above and beyond in cleaning up after a few messes our cats left her, and even went as far as to clean up some of our plants that our foster kittens love to use as a litter box unfortunately. Would definitely use Megan again as a Rover and I highly recommend.”

I have a peculiar animal who doesn’t like strangers and is scared of almost everything but it didn’t take more than a few visits for her to warm up to Gurjit. I also know she’s been taking care of her own pets for many years, and having met her small dog I’ve seen there’s been a lot of care put into him as he’s always full of energy despite his age.”

About: I'm CTE Certified in small animal care and Management. I've pet sit for multiple people around my neighborhood and I have my own pets that I care for. This will basically be my job because I do attend college, so I have a lot of time on my hands when I'm out of school. I have my own pets that I take care of and I have extra things I can bring if needed and would shop for a pet's specific needs.
